I learned so much from playing my son's James' mom on General Hospital. I could feel how completely he was committed to his character, the crazy artist Franco. When I got back to my sketch comedy group (Suburban Squirrel) and my drama group (Studio-33), I was so much more deeply committed to my characters. It was a wild experience, though, because it felt as if two parallel realities were going on at once.

I am watching GH and enjoy your role. The whole Franco artist, storyline is crazy but draws attention. Congrats on all your success as a writer and now an actress!

Hello Betsy- I loved your scenes with James on GH and look forward to more. My 10-year-old daughter has asked repeatedly to take acting classes or get invovled with a children's theather but I'm at a loss about the correct way to go about this. We live in Corona, Ca about an hour out of LA, so we could drive into LA. Do you have any schools or children's theathers in the LA area you can recommend? Thank you much, Tracy Lawrence
