Filming

April 15, 2009

Hey, I'm filming a scene from my latest novel. It's exciting. A friend of mine is in a film class and we've cast two really good actors from Palo Alto High School.

I took a screenwriting class at Stanford that was excellent. The teacher was Adam Tobin. During the class, I wrote a screenplay adaptation of my novel, and now I've reworked a five minute segment for filming. Should be fun.

You will probably want to film your 5 minute segment in North Dakota (and who wouldn't). I would love to be an extra in your film as I am available between floods and other natural disasters.

That sounds really neat!!!!!!!!! Hi I am a fifth grader and I am doing a report on you. Your poems are very interesting. I was wondering if I could have a few interesting facts for my report on you. I also need when you were born. Sorry for the problem.

By chance did you work for the notorious phone company in Palo Alto in 1969-1971 time frame? If so we were coworkers and fellow grumblers! I read now for a volunteer literacy program in the Campbell School District and LOVE your books (whether you're the B. Franco I knew then or NOT!)
